Master the art of Mooching for Salmon and enjoy thrilling catches of Lingcod and all while learning from our skilled crew. Your perfect fishing trip starts here!

Mooching for salmon offers a more interactive experience, allowing customers to feel the excitement of actively hooking a fish. This technique involves casting out a line with a herring hooked to a leader and attached to a sinker. As the herring sinks and spins through the water, its movement mimics natural prey, drawing in the salmon and enticing them to bite. 

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own.

We will be offering a prize (Free Afternoon Trip and +1 Guest) for who catches the  biggest 'kept' salmon for the year. The free trip can be redeemed the following year.

Your fishing machine for the day is a 21' Grady-White center console with room for 5 passengers. It has all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and bait. 

Keep in mind that salmon and lingcod may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.

Start your trip with a squid jig in hand.
The Squid Drift departs from Edmonds and runs 4 hours of light tackle action near one of Washington’s most productive squid areas. As the light changes, schools of squid move through the Sound, creating a lively and fast-paced fishery. Captain Kyle keeps things easy and engaging for all experience levels, making it a great choice for first timers or anyone looking to enjoy a fun day on the water.
Start times will vary depending on sunrise and sunset times.

Lingcod fishing will be located at reefs and other structures in central Puget Sound. We will be using live bait to try and entice the lings to bite more aggressively. We will be fishing for our bait for about an hour or until we reached a certain amount that will last us for the whole trip. Fun activity for kids and adults.

4 Hour Trip – Lingcod (PM)

Join us for a 4-hour salmon fishing trip on Puget Sound starting at 12:30pm! Captain Kyle will guide you with expert tips, hands-on help, and strategic moves to find fish. All gear provided. Catch the biggest salmon of the year and win a free future trip! Min. 2 guests required; 5th may be added if space allows. Great for all experience levels—just bring layers and a good attitude!

4 Hour Trip – Salmon (PM)

4 Hour Trip – Salmon (PM) - 1:30 PM

Start your morning with a mix of action and variety.
The Trio Trip combines crabbing, squid jigging, and flounder fishing for a true taste of Puget Sound. You’ll drop pots for sweet Dungeness crab, jig for market squid perfect for calamari, and hook flounder that’s great for fish and chips. Captain Kyle makes it easy and enjoyable for all experience levels. Five hours of fishing, food, and fun on the Sound.
Departure times will vary depending on the sunrise.

Morning Trio: Crab, Squid, Flounder

Start your day with a bend in the rod. 
Bite After Dawn kicks off at 6:30 AM, just after first light and delivers 5 solid hours of hands-on mooching action. The early morning calm meets the perfect bite window, giving you prime time to hook into salmon while the tide’s just right. It’s not about being the first boat out, it’s about being there when the fish are ready to feed. Min. 2 guests required; 5th may be added if space allows. Great for all experience levels.

Bite After Dawn - Salmon Charter

Join us for an exciting day on the water targeting both salmon and Dungeness crab! Throughout the trip, we’ll alternate between salmon fishing and periodically checking the crab pots to maximize your catch. It’s a great way to enjoy a full day of action and variety, with plenty of opportunities to bring home both fresh fish and delicious crab. Available only in October. (4 people max)

Join us for a 6-hour salmon fishing trip on Puget Sound with Captain Kyle! Learn how to fish with guided tips, premium gear, and full support throughout the day. Move between hotspots based on tide and fish activity. Prize chance: catch the biggest salmon of the year and win a free trip! Includes snacks, water, and gear. Min. 2 guests required. Up to 4 per trip; 5th guest may join if space allows. Wear layers of clothes, closed-toe shoes, and sunscreen.

6 Hour Trip – Salmon (AM)

Two favorites. One fun-filled trip.
Get ready for a five-hour adventure that blends two of the Puget Sound’s most accessible fisheries: Flounder and Dungeness crab. Perfect for first-time anglers, families, or anyone looking to fill their cooler with fresh seafood, this combo trip offers nonstop action and plenty of variety. Thursday - Mondays only starting July 6th. (4 people max)
