Your Fishing Charter

Captain Froggy’s Charter Fishing is a sought after charter located in Wanchese, NC. Captain Froggy provides professional fishing trips that sell as hotcakes. If you want to place your bet on one charter to take you out and turn your day into a great fishing adventure, book your spot.

Wanchese overlooks some of the finest fishing spots in the area. Pamlico Sound lies nearby, and the waters of the Atlantic Ocean are a boat ride away. This means that Capt. Froggy knows how to put you on a variety of fish. 

You’ll go fishing aboard a 25’ Carolina Skiff center console that can take up to 6 people. It is powered by a 250 HP Suzuki 4 Stroke engine and can reach speeds of up to 35 knots. In its lifetime, “Here Fishy Fishy” has taken numerous customers out on the water and provided memorable fishing excursions to many kids.

The boat is rigged with the standard safety and navigational equipment, and also has a flybridge, live bait well, and an icebox. For more precision, it is equipped with outriggers and downriggers. Whether you want to troll for Spanish Mackerel or cast a jig for Redfish and Flounder, Capt. Froggy knows how to go about it. He’s also a grandfather of 9 and simply adores when kids come along.

Depending on the season and fish biting, you will encounter the likes of Striped Bass, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Redfish. Cobia and Tuna are not an uncommon sight. These fish swim at different distances from the shore, and that will determine what you’ll catch. One thing is sure, though – this charter is a safe choice wherever you fish.

When you step aboard, you’ll be greeted by the captain and his first mate. You’ll get rods, reels and tackle, lures, and live bait. No need to worry about the license, it’s been taken care of.

A bit later start time, but still plenty of bite. You head out to the ocean, and usually target Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Cobia, and Redfish. If you only have 4 hours and still want some variety of fish, this is an excellent match. No need to bring the gear, it's waiting for you on board.
