Your Fishing Charter

Fogman Fisheries LLC bids you a warm welcome to Columbia, South Carolina! Pick a day that suits you and let Captain James Lindler take you on a memorable fishing trip on Lake Murray. This top-class angling destination will charm you with its natural surroundings and offer you an excellent chance to return with a respectable catch. The captain will use all his vast experience to put you on the fish and make your stay on the water the best possible. Join him aboard and have a wonderful day fishing in Columbia!

The boat you will use is a 22’ Sundance bay boat that can accommodate up to 5 guests. It is powered by a 150 HP Mercury four stroke engine with hydraulic jack plate 
and uses all the modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology for safe and efficient navigation. The boat also uses a wireless trolling motor for a more tactful approach to the fish and features a livewell to supply you with live bait.

You and Captain James will be searching Lake Murray for Striped Bass. You can chase this tasty as well as elusive fish by bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, and jigging, using both light and heavy tackle. You can keep all the fish you catch but you’re also free to release it back into the water.

The captain will take care of all the rods, reels, tackle, as well as live bait and lures. The only things you should bring on your trip are fishing licenses, snacks, and drinks.

Spend up to 6 hours on Lake Murray and have a great time fishing for Striper. You and the captain will use live bait and other techniques to land this wonderful, hard-pulling fish. The techniques will vary according to the season and lake conditions. Note that the captain can provide fish cleaning for an additional $5 per filleted fish. Departure times vary, you'll typically depart around sunrise.
