Good night Fisherman, Lower, Megan, River, and Lake Ontario.

The weather wasn’t the best but Peter put us on some fish and we had a ball.

We really enjoyed the Captain we got set up with! Mark was very knowledgeable about the lake and wildlife in the area.  I brought my girlfriends 10 year old son out who loves to fish,  Mark made sure he had a great time!  He was able to answer any questions he had from birds to fish.  Marks personality was great, it made the trip a complete blast from start to finish!  He sure can make 7 hours go by quick!  Next time in the area we will most definitely be going back out!

My wife, 7 year old daughter and I took a half day trip with CAPT John out of Buffalo Harbor.  As we were putting in for the afternoon trip other boats were coming in from their morning trips and reported SLOW fishing - one boat said they caught one fish in 7-8 hours of fishing. 

CAPT John was not deterred and within 5 minutes of getting to our first spot I hooked into a nice Sheepshead.  While those are considered “trash” fish because they aren’t edible (too bony) they make for a fun catch because of their fight.

We continued to catch sheepshead in various different spots.  Right at the end of the trip CAPT John moved us to one of his secret spots and we started catching mice smallmouth bass.  On our last pass of the trip we doubled up - our daughter hooked and landed a 4-5 lb small mouth bass and my wife hooked and landed a 3-4 lb sheepshead.

In the end we caught well over a dozen fish and had a great day on the water with CAPT John!
