Awesome day on the water with a great guise; Captain Al.

Awesome bucket list experience fishing at Lake Harry.  Follow the foolproof system: anchor the boat near a jug, drop in a jig, reel in big fat walleye and northern pike, repeat!  Captain Al served a variety of meals outside of freshly caught fish and the portions were plentiful.  Captain Al’s fresh blueberry pie was the best pie I’ve had in my life.  The guest house is new and modern and each room has its own bathroom.  Great experience all around, fun memories made.  Looking forward... We spent a week at Harry Lake Lodge in August 2018, and the experience was great!  We had the beautiful lake full of fish all to ourselves.  The cabin was new with a bathroom for each bedroom.  Al is a very good host.  He took good care of us and kept us well fed with a different menu every day.  All we needed to do was show up; he took care of the rest.

The accommodations were second to none, exceptionally clean, nice hot showers (though the hot water wasn’t needed due to the hot weather). Fishing was good, all the fish are nice and healthy….of course the fresh fish meals were perfect and all the meals were good & tasty! Fishing off a Pontoon boat was a first for me and to my surprise I wouldn’t do it any other way.
