Worked hard so move spots and make sure we could get hooked up on a tarpon. We unfortunately were met with unfavorable weather and the fish were not being very aggressive. But I will most certainly be booking again my next time in San Juan. Our captain was super nice to be around, gave us some good places to go dance and eat/drink. He was very clearly emotionally invested in getting us fish. It wasn’t just a money grab. He was also a very sound boat captain and navigated the waters like a pro even with other boats tossing wake, and the wind kicking up waves. Smooth sailing, fun time. 10/10

Captain Fernando reached out to me the day prior to trip, made sure to answer last minute questions and made sure we had the proper Address to the marina.
When we arrived he greeted us with a beautiful Puerto Rican sunrise, Followed by a quick safety brief and our plan for the afternoon,
We landed Snook and Tarpon on Top water lures (Absolutely Exciting having a Captain that was so creative when looking for the Bite)  Hooked up on Both a Monster Tarpon an Snook that unfortunately got the best of us But not before RIPPIN a couple LIPS off the smaller tackle busters!
Through out the morning and afternoon Fernando took photos, kept fun and interesting conversation with fact about local waters, Animals we might see, and some History on Fishing Monster Tarpon!
At the end of the trip, He wished my Wife an Amazing Birthday followed by recommending the best dinner of our trip at Princesa - Cocina Cultura’

My goal was to set out to catch Tarpon for my very first time, and that we did! Captain Fernando surpassed my expectations! The 6 hour trip we did was perfect because it allowed us to really home in and find great spots. Throughout the trip, the Tarpon we were catching just kept getting larger as the day progressed. Captain Fernando was kind enough to let me keep the Hook in which we caught the largest one of the day. Talk about a memory!! Overall, I way very pleasantly surprised and I will be coming back on my next trip! If you want an energetic Captain with great knowledge and great tips, I most definitely recommend Captain Gernando!

Thank you Fernando and team! My son and I had an absolute amazing experience learning about Tarpon fishing and reeling in a 50 pounder. Our hearts were pounding. We had a few others on the line and watched them defy gravity as the launched out of the water. Fernando was the best. Very knowledgeable and passionate about his work.  He taught us so much about Tarpon and how to respect their well being.

Went out with my dad and my 2 sons(10 and 7 yrs old), Fernando was our captain. We did the 4 hr morning trip. Had an awesome morning, my boys landed a few nice tarpon and a couple more got away but had a great time. Fernando was an awesome captain, very professional while still very personable. My boys really liked having him as captain and he was very patient with them which was great, even caught a tiny crab for my youngest to let crawl on him. Can’t say enough good things about it, really good time, Thank you Fernando!!!
