Background
Capt. Raphael grew up in central California, where he was fortunate enough to live about a 100 yrds from the San Jaquine River. This is where his love for the outdoors grew. His favorite place to be is outside, and his favorite thing about being a guide is sharing this passion with others. He realizes that many of us are not as fortunate as he was, growing up on a river. Showing people how amazing rivers and the wildlife that surrounds them is is something truly special to him.
Techniques
I can teach you just about anything you want to know about fly fishing for trout. From casting to understanding the river structure and what the fish are eating it all comes very natural to me. To me it is more important to be able to do this in a way that is fun, entertaining and easy. Fly fishing is a super complex sport and my style is to approach each person based on how I believe they will best receive and retain the information. Example: if I teach you how to do something and you do it wrong 10 more times I will NEVER get mad! I will instead focus on how I can explain it differently and make sure that you continue to have fun. I am a knot ninja and I can almost guarantee that a knot or two will happen. SO BRING ON THE KNOTS AND LETS GO CATCH SOME FISH. That is my style:) Cheers and tight lines Raph,

Captain Fazi is one really great guide he has the patience of Job untying as many knots as he does in one day.  He is super knowledgeable about the area he fishes in and he is willing to share his knowledge. You do not have to worry if you have never used a fly rod he will coach you all the way. We caught some very nice fish and it was worth every penny we paid. Don’t wait book your trip now you will not regret it.
