Great day to be out on the water! Couple Kings landed and many hook ups even a sail fish. Great experience.  Layed back and knowledgable Captain Tom gave my family and I a great Saturday and put dinner on the table.

Captain was on time and asked us what species we were interested in catching. We wanted mahi mahi, so he told us it has been slow as these fish show in greater numbers later in the season. We insisted and he put us on the fish. Caught several and lost more. Great fun. Boat is open but plenty of room and dry on the run out to the fishing grounds(15 min from the dock).

We had a good, windy day for fishing. We met Captain Tom at 7 a.m. and headed out to fish after stopping to get some live bait. His son Thomas also joined us and was great help. It was a slow day of kite fishing with only 4 bites and no hook-ups for the first 6 hours. Finally, things went crazy and we boated two sailfish and lost another one. It turned out to be a good day and Captain Tom did his best to get us on to fish. The overall experience was only marked
good because when we returned to our car, there was a ticket on the windshield for parking. Captain Tom didn’t mention that the lot he instructed us to park in was a pay lot, which the City of Pompano Beach did a very poor job of signing that it was a pay lot and did a great job of hiding the pay station in the trees, especially at 6:45 in the morning. The $35 parking ticket spoiled what was a great day of fishing.

The captain was nice, the boat was perfect, the sea did not cooperate and was rocky I was a little worried. My son got sea sick and we had to cut the trip in half. Still cost me the same for the whole trip and didn’t catch anything, so kinda bummed out. I guess thinking about it I only saw one or two other boats out, the captain should have cancelled the trip and saved me $450.

Great charter and fun experience.
