Very knowledgeable on bass fishing. Gave lots of helpful tips I can use and take back home. Being new to large mouth bass fishing I’ll take all the advice I can get. Fishing was so so but all the boats around us were not doing any better. Kept moving and trying different things, got on to some fish and landed a few but lost more than we put in the boat. Even caught my first on top water. Had a blast on my first fresh water fishing trip in Florida

John was quick to respond to texts beforehand, providing clear instructions of meeting place and time. He explained techniques clearly and thoroughly. He worked hard to successfully get us on fish. His equipment and boat were in top shape. Between the fishing and general conversation, this was a very enjoyable trip. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Capt Jon was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and helpful with us! Took his time to share his experience and helped rig everything up and kept in on the fish! And yet asked what we wanted to do and let us throw some Comfort lures! Lol! I will absolutely book with him next year! Great guide, great guy, and just overall a fun guy to fish with! We were originally scheduled for lake Okeechobee, but my son and I decided that we wanted to fish for some Florida Peacock Bass. John suggested Lake Osborne, and he was spot on.  We had a great day and caught some nice peacocks. John was awesome!  He put us on the fish, taught us a few new techniques and kept us rigged and ready. He also made some great restaurant suggestions for lunch afterwards.  When I’m in Florida next, I will not hesitate to reach back out to him!  I highly recommend a fishing trip with John!
