Background
My passion for fishing commenced in my early 20's with the purchase of a 28ft Sport Fisher. This was the vessel that I had my first encounter with black marlin & it wasn't long after that the decision was made that this boat wasn't quite the size we required for chasing marlin. So in 2008 I flew over to Florida to upgrade to a 36ft Luhrs & imported it into Australia. This boat "STILL PRODUCEN" delivered us plenty of marlin in the waters around the Kepple's, but we were still limited in range & to sea conditions. This vessel was sold to make way for the Eureka 42 "TOPLESS". A one of a kind Aussie built game boat that we used in the Whitsunday's & 2014/15 heavy tackle seasons in Cairns. Early 2016 saw yet another vessel upgrade to a Riviera 51 (17.75m) Launched in 2006 Sydney boat show in the joint venture between Riviera & MTU. "TOPLESS" turns heads everywhere she goes & I'm pleased to say there will be no more bigger boats as the riv meets all the requirements & luxuries needed.

Went fishing on Wednesday, March 2, 2016

First class equipment, meals, hot shower, cold beer & great crew, all contributed to a memorable experience in March 2016. Highly recommended. If you want to catch a Marlin, go with a crew with years of experience. I’ve invited some mates to meet up with Topless in far North Qld at the end of 2016 to experience the adrenalin rush of catching a big predator.

From the moment we arrived aboard Topless we were made feel welcome by Russel and Marlene and were looked after all day by there excellent service and attention to detail. The day was special as my son Keiren caught and released his first billfish using only up to date tackle and a vessel that can be best described as amazing I would highly recommend a fishing charter on Topless and to be looked after by Russell and Marlene and crew.
