At first glance I must admit the the size of the boat caused a little concern for a party of 6 adults.

But the size was perfect and never caused any problems - not during transport, not while fishing and not even with 2 big Tunas on the deck.

We had a great day:
Bruno (the Captain) and his family was extremely service minded and had even arranged for gluten free lunch to accommodate our special needs.

And when it came to the actual fishing it doesn’t become any better…..we caught 2 big tuna fish (app. 180 & 220kg) and they captain and his crew assisted us with do’s and don’t every step of the way. From initial hook to actually getting the fish on the boat. 

We booked a 6 hours trip originally planed to start in the morning. But Bruno reached out a few days in advanced an recommended that we went in the afternoon instead to increase our success rate. So we did - and even though we only paid for 6 hours there was never any complaints that the trip ended up taking almost 8 hours due to the struggling with the last fish.

This was our fist Big Game experience but absolutely not our last. And if we are ever going back to Portugal we will be looking up Bruno and his crew for a second tour.

If you are considering Big Game Fishing I only have one advice: GO, GO, GO….

We had a super time with Bruno and Guilherme! Before we arrived there was some odd weather activity which changed the water and swells. Bruno was proactive and helped rearrange the schedule so we had a better chance at catching fish. We did! 7 White marlin in two days. Next to the fishing, Bruno thaught us a lot about fishing in the Tavira region. Most memorable is the pasion for fishing that we experienced with both Bruno and Guilherme. We can’t wait to get back out there! Thanks guys

It’s been a very nice trip with Captain Bruno and his crew. They did a very good job and that’s why we have been able to catch this amazing White Marlin!!!

We had a great time with the crew and they were very enthusiastic about getting the fish
Communication was a problem as it seems to be with most thing Portuguese - nobody answered the phone and getting and a meeting place or time just didn’t happen apart from that we’d booked half a days fishing and I think we had over six hour and they’d of kept going!!!
So a great was had overall
