Due to a last minute cancellation by another charter, we decided to book a trip with Capt James and was not disappointed. Even on a tough day with the bite slow he still put us on fish and even kept us out a little longer to get one of the girls hooked up on a shark. Which he did, she hooked up a few times but she just couldn’t get it in. Started out in the gulf for kings and had a few bites but it was choppy and didn’t stay long because my dad just couldn’t handle it, so he took that into consideration and we moved back into the bay where we caught blowfish, sea bass, some red snapper, blue fish, a black tip shark, and some catfish. Later on in the morning we moved into a place where no other boats were hooking up and he still put us on fish where nobody else was catching Except us. He clowned around with us and we all had an awesome time. We will definitely be booking again when we come back next year and I suggest you all do the same. No other guide knows the water better and has the knowledge that he does.

My wife and I had a great experience with Capt. JP. I am a repeat customer. He has the experience and local knowledge to put you on fish. He offered us options based on the current conditions. He listened to what we were interested in doing, and had a plan. We had good communication with Capt. JP leading up to the day of the charter.
We wanted to inshore fish with artificial lures. Capt. JP got us on fish with top water, suspend, and jig lures. We changed tactics and locations as conditions dictated. Capt. JP was patient with us, and explained things well.

JP did a great job. He knows the waters and puts you on the fish. We stayed busy catching fish and he answered any questions we had. We had a great day on the water. If we were in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to take another trip with him.

Amazing experience with JP!!! Communicated very well with me before the charter to insure I had everything on my end. The weather was amazing and the water was amazing. It was a tuff day fishing could have been the fish jus wasn’t cooperating or our inexperience. I really appreciated how he treated my son by putting him right next to him and the attention he gave him. We all was able to put a fish in the cooler to bring home and lost some good ones and caught a good bit that was undersized. The look on my sons face with the Bonito the we hooked while trolling on the way back was worth the whole trip!!! This fish whooped my son all the way down one side of the boat and all he could do was smile for hours. Thank you captain for the amazing day on the water!!! Looking forward to another trip! If you want to go out with a captain that knows his stuff and where to find the fish this is your guy!!!
