I have won over 22 offshore fishing tournaments and love competing at a high level. I take pride in putting my clients/friends on the fish of a lifetime. Techniques: Here at 3G Fishing Charters we bottom fish and fish on top. To be successful offshore you have to be able to adapt and use both types of fishing. We will drift, troll, chum, and fish on bottom for the offshore fish.

This was billed as a shark hunting trip for 6 hours (3/4 day). The problem with that is, the sharks don’t migrate through until at least June. Therefore, no shark. Basically, we spent 10 - 20 mins in a variety of shallow waters, catching small salt water catfish, or nothing at all, hoping gor bigger fish. This made no sense to me. Valerie, Due to the wind conditions we were not able to get out to where the sharks are. You had the option to not go fishing or stay in the bays and channels due to the wind. I’m sorry you were not satisfied with your trip. We run over 400 charters a year with an average of 4.4 star rating out of 5 stars. We are confident in what we do and our customers see the results.

Our guide was great. Unfortunately we booked a shark hunt and he wasn’t prepared for that. We ended up fishing the jetty. The owner apologized and offered us a 10% discount if we wanted to come back but that’s not a great option for us. The bottom line is if we had known they wouldn’t do a shark hunt then I’d have paid the additional money to do an off-shore trip. We wanted to fish for big fish, not sheepshead and catfish.
