Our party of 5 was picked up at 8am for our 8-Noon trip as scheduled. After we were picked up, we had to stop at a bait shop so our Captain could go buy bait for the trip. We finaly headed out at 8:45, instead of 8:00. Shouldn’t that be done beforehand? After we got to our first fishing spot, we were then told that only 4 people could fish at a time, 2 per side. This was advertised as a 6 person fishing trip, not 4. Luckily, we only had 5 so only 1 person had to sit there an “not fish” on our “fishing trip” as we took turns fishing. We were only bottom fishing, so I asked Captain Mike if I could throw a line off the very back corner so everyone could fish. He said, “No, I’ve been doing this for 13 years and only 4 fish at a time”. Then 10 minutes later Captain Mike thows his own fishing rod out the back corner of the boat and starts fishing.

Captain Aaron really hooked us up with a great fishing experience! Aaron was awesome at constantly helping my kids re-bait their hooks and fixing their twisted and knotted lines. This meant I was able to finally go fishing with the kids and without being interrupted every 5 seconds. He was also super patient with the kids and did a great job answering a lot of their questions. My kids, wife and I and caught at least 40 fish. Aaron’s the captain you want if you’re looking to hookup with some fish in Sarasota!
