This is the time of year that the water warms up, and the bait starts congregating in shore. Following the Bait are predatory fish called pelagics. One of the first too show up is Spanish Mackeral. As we move into the fall fishing season we find there is less fishing pressure than the summer months. This allows the captain a wide variety of areas to fish and explore. Fridays Saturdays and Sundays in September October and November are going to be open for Red Snapper aboard state licensed boats. This adds one more type of fish we are able to fish for aboard the Black Magic. We fish for several different varieties of snappers including Lane Snapper Black Snapper White Snapper and Vermillion Snapper or as we call them Beeliners. All are excellent eating fish and Captain Blacks favorite happens to be Vermillion Snapper. Our vessels have air conditioning and restrooms on board for your comfort and we would love to have you fish with us soon.

We have a had a great!!!!! Federal Red Snapper season and we are going out with a bang. Get signed up for the last day Rodeo Roundup our 16 hour Split Trip. We do no run splits but decided to allow it this one time for the closing day. Get signed up and get ready to pull on some big fish!!!! Trip leaves at 2 am and doesn't get in until 6 pm. Red snapper season open in State Waters these waters have not been finished until the 16th of this month so lots of red snapper are being caught. 6-8 hr trips are lots of fun and can produce some fine eating fish.
