- Hello, thanks for stopping by! I have lived in Alabama since 2020. I grew up in Michigan, fishing every little trout stream, pond and lake I could find. When I wasn't fishing, I was busy hunting the family farm for squirrel, rabbit and whitetail. I also spent a lot of time fishing Lake Erie, which is where I developed my love for walleye (and now sauger) fishing. Prior to moving, I worked as a deputy for the local Sheriff's Office, then as a police officer for a city here in North Alabama. I have met some of my best friends along the way and it gave me the confidence to tackle any challenge in life! I met my wife, Kay, shortly after college in Grand Rapids, MI. She is the biggest supporter of this dream I chase! She has supported me since day one! Our little family also consists of two beagles, Wyatt and Molly. Wyatt has been with us since he was a puppy and Molly was adopted from a local shelter. They are spoiled to the core! I have always wanted to have a job doing what I love so it didn’t feel like work; living so close to Lake Guntersville has allowed me to do just that with Jason Miller Guide Service. I truly enjoy sharing my fishing adventures and teaching others who are wanting to learn something new. I enjoy every adventure!
