Background
I was born into fishing. I am a 4th generation Kermit and have lived and fished in Naples Fl since I was 8years old. After working in the resort and hospitality industry for 6 years I decided to live my dream and fish. I could only assist other captains with charters for so long untill I became one myself. I quit my hotel career and began to live what I call the Dream Life.
Techniques
I specialize in both backwater and offshore fishing. Offshore we use 40lbs fluorocarbon leader weighted down with 2oz or 3 oz led depending on the depth typically with a 3 to 4 ft leader depending on the fisherman and targeted species. Offshore live pinfish is a Must!! We target bait for the first 30min or less and then head deep to the kill zone. I love getting monster grouper(firetrucks), cobia, kingfish, permit. The snapper bite is always on so not ever an issue filling coolers with a variety. Backwater fishing I somtime a use artificial or white bait. We target snook, trout , redfish just as every backwater trip should include. Winter time is alway fun for redfish trout and sheepshead. These are great eating and fun to load coolers with.

Went fishing on Friday, July 15, 2016

My three sons and I went to our first fishing trip to start a family tradition and we have a great time. Kermit, our captain, was extraordinary. His assistance was the best - he was focus on our needs at all times. After out trip, my sons and I were commenting on how Kermit was able to move around the boat to help us. I highly recommend Kermit as the captain for your next fishing trip.
