Booked a 12 hour day with captain Jon and mate Diego.  Started at 6:30 am sharp, our agreed upon time.  My heart was set on fishing billfish.  Boat was in fine shape, we pulled up for ice then met the bait guy, and we were off.  It’s a long run out for billfish,  so be prepared for it,  going in.  About an hour into actual fishing time, we had THREE simultaneous strikes, out of eight rods…. to say it got chaotic would be an understatement.  We boated 2 of the 3 Dorado and had the leader of the other, so, caught fish in my estimation.  One was a beautiful 48” Bull Dorado.  The billfish did not cooperate on this day, but, captain Jon, who is a true conservationist did don snorkeling gear TWICE,  and rescue sea turtles in distress.  One caught up in a huge piece of sea trash, the other, hooked on an illegal long line.  We did catch anther 45” bull Dorado on the day.  Bill fishing is more hunting than fishing, and some days you just come up empty handed.  These guys will work their asses of for you.  Do not hesitate to book with Hooked PV. 
Jon also provides a delicious lunch,  for a small extra fee, but it’s worth it.  He’s easy to get along with.  I would go fishing with Jon any damn day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

I booked a 4 hour afternoon fishing trip so that my grown up son and daughters could make it since they are not early bird risers, especially on vacation.
Captain Jon, as promised send me detailed directions on how to get there. Upon arrival, we were offered drinks from the bar, while the boat was been readied. A little after 1:00, we were off the docks, headed to the bay where we were lucky to catch two bonitos and a 40 lbs Jack.
Jon’ mate, Tom was very helpful during our trip. Capt Jon did an excellent job at finding the fish. Overall, this was an excellent experience,, besides the fact that we had fish to eat for 6 people for two dinners

Booked our trip the day before. Capt Jon couldn’t make it,  so He sent a backup crew.  Capt Ivan was stupendous.  As we left the dock I jokingly said he had to find me a Marlin, since that was one fish I had never caught.  Not an hour into the trip the rod on the outrigger starts to peal out line and 15 minutes latter a 6 ft stripped Marlin was on deck.  As far as I was concerned,We could have gone back to the pier and the day would have been a complete success,  but we stayed out anyway.  Hooked one more Marlin an albacore tuna and who knows how many bonito.  (We lost count after 50+). It was a great experience.  You won’t be sorry!

Jon and Cruz provided an excellent experience with outstanding customer service for us! They both were very professional and great company. We did a 6 hour trip and caught about 6-7 fish, saw adult and baby whales breaching, turtles and porpoises. They cleaned up the fish for us so we could bring it back to our condo and cook it up for dinner. We will definitely be coming back to do a full day trip with the family. Got hooked on fishing and want to catch even bigger fish next time!! Thanks again Jon and Cruz!!!

Just an amazing day of fishing. This is a private charter so you be the only people with the crew.

Brought in 4 El Toro between my son and I. These guys know what they are doing . Those fish are real fighters and take a while to get to the boat.
