Background
You could say Captain Steve is a natural fisherman. According to his family, his very first word was ‘Fish’ - you couldn’t ask for a better start to a life on the water! Growing up on Tampa Bay, he studied the weather patterns, moon phases, and ecology of the local area, as well as learning about the feeding patterns of the fish, seamanship, and navigation. Steve’s passion for fishing has resulted in him competing in numerous tournaments targeting Tarpon, Trout, King Mackerel, and Billfish. With all this knowledge behind him, he makes sure his charter guests come away not only with plenty of fish to take home, but also with an enhanced knowledge of the area’s history and ecology.

Four professionals out for an offshore fishing trip - had a great time with Captain Joe and his first Mate Batman (in picture above with Steve).  The water temps and seasonal regulations limited our options - but we did connect on the Hogfish above caught by Don, and about 15 keepers of Snapper and Sheepshead by Bob and Fred as well.  Capt Joe worked hard looking for the right spot - going through 7 or 8 of his favorites wrecks looking for the best returns.  Batman, a Reindeer Chihuahua, was the coolest and friendliest mate chillin with each of us whenever we moved.
