These guys are friendly fun and work there butts off to get you into some fish. We had so much fun! Plan B now has new customers for life with me. In the morning before we left my wife was having anxiety about going never had being out before. Albertos cool calm way of talking made her feel way better and she ended up having the time of her life. If you’re down here and want to go fishing book Plan B!! Thanks again guys you made our vacation the best!! Alberto and Luãgo are way too cool!! Sorry if I messed up the spelling of your 1st mates name. Already can’t wait to fish with you guys again. They have water sodas and beers for you on board. Ask him about the restaurant that will cook your catch! As I was writing this my wife just said “I love those guys seriously thank you so much!”

Plan B Charters was amazing!  Should be called Plan A Charters. From one fisherman to another, book this trip. I love to catch fish, but I also love to experience fishing. This trip has both. Capt. Alberto and Lugo are honest, genuine, and fun dedicated guys that love fishing as much me. Capt Alberto spoke great English and was very engaging and made our experience one to remember. We talked about our families, careers, and traditions we celebrate…as well as fishing stories. But don’t be fooled, when the fishing started we got down to business. Don’t let the size of the boat fool you. It was an up close and personal experience and handled the choppy waters just fine. We loved it! It handled the fish just fine to as we caught one Jack to start the day, then the tuna started coming aboard and the El Dorado joined the party too. We ended up catching 1 Jack, 3 big tuna, and 9 Mahi Mahi!  It was amazing.!!! The Captain even cleaned our fish and helped us order our fish sashimi style right at the harbor, and joined us for lunch!  Thank you Capt Alberto and Hugo. You guys are friends for life. We will be back!

Alberto was super awesome and communicated very fast with my questions. He was able to arrange a private transportation pick up and drop off back to my hotel. We started the day by catching live bait and then said we would do some trolling and bottom fishing. The biggest joy was when we hooked on to some tuna, tuna has been one of my top fish to catch and I was extremely impressed with how Alberto and his deck mate helped with all the gear and finding the fish. They provided snacks and drinks, I would highly recommend Plan B Charters to anyone wanting to fish in Cancun. Alberto also recommend a restaurant at the marina to cook the catches and it was amazing. I will be booking with them again in the near future. 5 stars all the way!

We were a group of four people, my girlfriend, me and two friends of us.
The booking itself was pretty comfortable, because we could choose how long we wanted to fish and whenever I had a question I could send a message to the captain, who immediately answered me.
Because we were staying in a hotel and did not have a car the captain also gave us the opportunity to get a private shuttle to the marina.
On board it was like fishing with an old friend. Alberto introduced himself and his friend and told us everything we needed to know before we started.
We needed about one hour to get to the first spot.
When we saw the seagulls on the horizon hunting for baitfish the fun began.
There were thousands of smaller tuna and bonitos feeding on the baitfish and we caught some of them to use them as bait later.
When Alberto threw out the first rod with a bonito as bait, the line was cut off by a big fish.
Also the next three bonitos were ripped apart by some monster below the surface.
After I guess two hours trolling, Alberto decided to fish with a bottom rig and pieces of bonito as bait.
That was the key that day. We had so many bites that our arms and shoulders were hurting.
We caught a big bonito, some groupers, jacks, snappers and a barracudas.
My personal highlight that day was to catch a giant barracuda of 115 cm. It was unbelievable strong.
Back in the marina we took some pictures with our catch and Alberto asked us if we wanted to eat some of the fish.
We decided to take two small tuna and a snapper.
Alberto cleaned them for us and brought them to a restaurant nearby.
We got the snapper fried and the tuna raw as sashimi and with some avocado and tomatoes.
It was by far the best fish I have ever tasted in my life.
All in all I can just say, if you are going on vacation to cancun and want to go out fishing, you need to book at Plan B Cancun fishing!!! The day was so awesome!!!

Had a great day with Alberto! He was a great guide and my wife and my I will DEFINITELY book another trip with him when we return to Cancun. Alberto was extremely informative. Alberto definitely knows what he’s talking about and knows how to get those fish in the boat!
