FAST AND FURIOUS FISHING September 2021

We have had spectacular fishing these past few weeks. Too many photos to share but little time. We had anglers from all over the world wanting to catch some of SE Florida's favorite game fish and sure they left with a smile on their faces. September and October are two of my favorite months to fish the Upper Keys (Biscayne Bay, Key Largo, Everglades National Park). Water is clear with many windless days and fish are happy. We fished anything from top water lures, live bait (sardines, shrimp, crabs) to flies. In Biscayne bay the action was almost non stop except during slack tide but the tidal range is so diverse in this intricate maze of keys (islands), bays, coves and flats that just moving a few hundred yards we can always find moving water (active tides). List of fish included tarpon, snook, bonefish, jacks, redfish, mutton snapper, grouper, sharks, barracuda, and more. We are now expecting the mullet run to swing by our coast and the fishing will be on fire.

Fishing with Martin was a blast. He was very clear with his instructions and we caught a lot of fish. We caught a bunch of different species. Barracudas, Snappers, Groupers, Jack’s, Trigger fish, Grunts and more. I would highly recommend fishing with Captain Martin to anyone looking for a fantastic guide.

The experience was good, unfortunately the water was dirty due to hurricane Ian and this caused some difficulties to catch fishes, I expected that the captain was prepared with the bait before going to fishing to save time, however, we lost some time looking bait, it time was recovered then fishing more time than agreed, so that was a cool thing. he help to my girlfriend in your first experience fishing, other good thing. The halftime experience only include water like drink.

Thank you for your review. It was really nice to meet you and your girlfriend was a trooper.
If you read closely the trip description you’ll read that we’ll catch bait while on the trip. Most often than not I buy live bait right at the marina at no extra cost to the client. Today however bait store and bait sellers reopened after being closed due to Hurricane Ian for a few days. Although catching live bait is part of the experience and took us a good hour, we stayed 1 hour and 50 minutes longer to offer you more time to fish. After fishing I also spent at least an extra half hour to clean your fish (not included in the service as described in the listing).
