Wish we booked for a longer time. We had a blast.  We caught a lot of fish and had an excellent experience.

We didn’t get the Mahi on board but we had a great time.

Super excited about 1st private charter with my family and two friends. Booked half day Charter, boat was fine with comfortable seats ( which were needed) 1st mate Derrick hustled non stop to try and put us on Mahi. We never hooked anything and did not really see anything till 30 minutes left in trip on our way back in - we saw some small Mahi, which we paused to try and get spent about 10 minutes making a last ditch stand on not getting skunked. No luck we then came in quickly as the Capt had others waiting for the next charter. I don’t want to really complain - I think the effort was made but we didn’t bend one rod on anything. I thought maybe stopping at a reef once we realized the Mahi bite was not going to happen, so someone could have brought home something Mangrove snapper/Mutton snapper something? Would have been appropriate. $650 boat ride on a gorgeous day? 

I understand the nature of fishing but when you come to the fishing capital of the world ( you just want a fish)!
