Dusty set the tone for the trip by calling the day before and being upfront with us about the potential for bad weather and not ideal fishing conditions. He was being honest with us and wanted to make sure we didn’t waste our money - class act. We decided to go ahead and fish….thank god we did because we had an awesome time with Dusty!!

Dusty focused on making sure our technique was correct. He was funny, respectful and most importantly making sure we were having a good time!

He had a bunch of good spots and we caught a ton of fish including a 28.5 in trout my cousin had to throw back!

Dusty is a class act and committed to making sure his clients have a good time. We will be fishing again with Dusty for sure!

Took my wife and two daughters out with Capt Dusty. He was a gentleman and provided us with a very memorable day! My charter experience has always been ” you should have been here yesterday!” Well today was yesterday!. We had our limit of trout in 30 minutes! And we caught some big trout! Practiced catch and release at our request and caught more trout than we’ve ever caught before. Capt Dusty then proceeded to do his best to get us on some redfish. Heat index of 125° had us off the water at 2p.m. but the memories we made were perfect!

We can’t wait to fish with Capt Dusty again soon!

We booked a trip with Captain Dusty for 4 people. Captain Dusty was very patient and understanding working with my 12 year old daughter and her friend. Both had never fished with spinning reels or fished in saltwater.  After some short instructions he had these girls casting and catching fish in a short amount of time. Throughout our trip Dusty was very attentive to our needs and kept us on the fish. My daughter was even able to catch a 24.5 inch sea trout by herself. We truly cannot thank and recommend Dusty and the Saltwater Cowboyz enough!

Was tough start, but Capt. Dusty kept working hard to find the fish.  Very informative,  and help us with the best techniques to catch the fish.  Caught a lot of speckled trout, but with the new slot limit in place it was tough getting the big ones.  We limited out with some nice big ones.  We then headed to catch some reds.  And had a blast caught our limit as well as a bunch of black drum to take home too.  Great time.  Would highly recommend.  Even got to see Capt. Dusty go swimming thanks to my son.

Dusty was able to put us on multiple species during our half day fishing trip. We caught a few nice Redfish, and multiple trout and black drum. He taught us how to use a popping cork in short order and were rippin’ lips in no time.

Boat is comfortable to fish from and plenty of space to chase the big fish around the boat when needed.

Absolute blast after a few days of work down in Corpus Christi.
