Was a little confusing finding the dock but called Captain Hank and he guided us to him.  Super friendly and nice to hang out with.  Knew his fish and even had one of them shark suckers suck onto the palm of his hand.  We went five miles out then came in to three miles then fished under the bridge near the dock.  To me, I caught many fish.  For my son this was his first time fishing in the ocean.  He did catch several fish after a slow start and stated he had a lot of fun.  I booked the trip mostly for the experience for him.  We caught enough fish to have some nice filets for dinner later.  We had a great time and would recommend Captain Hank and Deep Color Fishing.  Thanks Captain Hank for a great time.

We had a wonderful time fishing with Captain Hank.  He was really good with our sons, aged 10 and 13.  This was our second trip with him.  On our way out to fish, we were escorted by dolphin and had a drawbridge close over the boat as we passed underneath.  The fishing was pretty good.  We caught grunts, spanish mackerel and a kingfish.  Amazingly, the ocean was so clear that we could see to the bottom - 35 ft deep.  The area we were fishing in was like an aquarium.  We saw a Goliath Grouper and an Eagle Ray along with a multitude of other fish.  It really was like looking into a aquarium.  We would recommend Captain Hank to anyone interested in a fishing charter.  Make sure to get his recommendation on restaurants to cook the fish afterwards.  We couldn’t eat everything we caught but we tried!

My family and I vacationed in Treasure Island, FL this year and decided to book a deep sea fishing trip for a first time experience. After searching and reading reviews, I decided to go with Captain Hank Valencia. It was a great decision! The trip was just AWESOME. We caught several types of fish, and Hank was quick to know the type and details of each species we caught. Everything you need is provided for this trip, you only have to bring yourselves! Captain Hank was a very kind gentleman and even baited the ladies hooks. We fished the reefs and the bay and even got to see some stingrays. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had on vacation, and I would highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Hank!

We had a great 1/2 day trip with Captain Hank. Neither of us had ever fished in the ocean before. He took us to a spot where he had been having very good luck recently. Every single cast, we had bites. The fish were tricky and were really good at stealing the shrimp, and us not being able to hook them. But it was non-stop bites. We caught about 10 keepers, and had another handful that were just a little too small to keep. The captain was great and had all the gear we needed, as well as a cooler for us to use for snacks and drinks. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Would definitely recommend his charter.
