My brother and I fished two half days with Captain Mike. Poor weather and an El Niño made for difficult fishing but Captain Mike kept working spots until we located the fish. At the end of the day we each boated beautiful redfish. The tackle, boat, and Captain were all first class. I’ve been fishing charters over 40 years now and Captain Mike is as good as they get.  I will definitely be fishing with him again in Saint Augustine.

Captain Mike put us on the fish. This was my very first fishing charter and it blew away my expectations. Captain Mike was very accommodating, making sure that my family was comfortable, including my wife, who is prone to getting seasick. Captain Mike was the best guide we have had the opportunity to work with. He was Johnny on the spot with bait. He worked very hard to find the fish. He was personable and friendly. It was a a tough fishing day (high winds & currents) but Mike worked hard to put us on the fish. After fishing several spots, we ended up on a point and the fish were on! We caught Big redfish, catfish, grouper, flounder, and even a blowfish! Mike’s advice on where to cast and how to set the hook was key in getting those redfish. His boat is clean, well equipped and fast enough to get you to the fish quickly.
