Wanted to try something new so hopped online and started reading reviews on charters for deep sea fishing. Found Hawk Charters to be one of the best reviewed charters for the area and the reviews were not wrong! Capt. David and Chris aka shaggy hooked up the day with consistent action. We started out on the top for wahoo, sailfish, and mahi caught 2 mahi, an amberjack, and a barracuda. Had a few other missed opportunities but that’s all par for the course. After about 3 hours we switched to bottom fishing which with the given conditions which were great was an amazing experience. Every time we dropped we atleast had a hit and most times yielded a catch. Needless to say I HIGHLY recommend this charter and the guys will do anything to accommodate your needs and are very standup gentlemen.

Great day on the water with Captain David and 1st mate Chris (Shaggy).  My wife, my 13 yr old son and I had a blast and caught 57 fish!!!  Main catch was Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish.  We were newbies to charter fishing and Shaggy was an expert fisherman, a great teacher, and a really fun guy to spend the day with.  The weather was predicted to be a bit dicey and Capt David was very flexible and willing to accommodate whatever we wanted to do.  Second half of the trip actually turned into perfect weather, but the entire trip was a blast!!  I highly recommend Capt David, Shaggy, and Hawk Charters. We will definitely be back!
