- Capt. Dan Mcdonnell has been fishing for 25 years. He grew up fishing Lake Erie for Walleye, Perch, and Steelhead, as well as farm ponds. Then while continuing to fish our Great Lake he began fly fishing the Lake Erie tributaries and targeting other species like Smallmouth Bass, Pike, and Muskie. He can't wait to introduce you to the hottest fishing grounds around – helping you have fun while you reel in your dream catch is the best part of the job!
- Techniques
- We prefer trolling for Walleye in the spring, late summer, and fall and cast for them in the early summer. We troll for Steelhead in the summer and fall and find that casting spoons in the fall for chrome is an exciting experience for our clients. We anchor up and jig the bottom of the lake for Perch in spring, summer, and fall.
