STEELHEAD population up top of the river is absolutely stuffed and more coming every day! This is a very early spring and the fishing the next 3 months will be epic! Lake Ontario is wide open and Brown Trout are already snapping! So Steelhead in the River and Browns on Lake Ontario out of the driftboat is On! You have to call and get here ASAP to get into the action! I have open dates and ready to go for these next 3 months! 18' custom Fish-Rite Drift Boat equipped with 3 heaters! We went 5 for 14 all on egg sacks. Lots of fresh fish and more and more everyday! You have to book a trip to hook a lip! Get into the December fish fest! Water weather and Steelhead fishing has been absolutely amazing!

Water and weather seems to be great so far for December. No below zero days in the near future. Water is up and many fresh fish in the river and many big Steelhead that have been here for a while. All different sizes and colors. The best month for Steelhead fishing is December! Get here before the deep freeze hits! Best fishing and quality of fish I've seen in 5 years! You have to be in it to win it! I do have gift certificates available for any amount and makes a great Christmas gift! Open days are available! 18' custom built Fish-Rite Drift Boat equipped with 3 heaters for clients comfort. All gear and bait provided except waders. 41 years experience on the Salmon River.

Disclaimer, my rating of the trip is based solely on the outcome of the trip. Which is, did we catch any fish and how many bites did we get. We caught 0 fish and had only 1 bite during the 6 hour trip. The captain is a nice guy and I hate to give him such a low rating but, I most certainly would not pay the price of the trip to not catch any salmon again. Unfortunately we as guides are not in control of mother nature. And any fisherman knows that you have your good days and bad days that’s fishing. I also did not complain when they were an hour late and I sat waiting for them and wasting my time and when they waited for me to pack up I was an inconvenience to them. If that’s the case I feel that I would rather they book with someone else. They do not seem to be fishing people. Most clients help with the covering the boat. God bless to you... More
