- I have been a passionate angler for over 20 years, and my lifestyle now revolves around pike fishing. Indeed, I spend most of my free time pursuing this majestic creature. I've been fishing my entire life using a variety of active fishing gear. I vividly remember catching my first fish by myself at the age of 8. In 2006, I completed my archipelago boat driver's qualification, and in 2019, I obtained a charter boat driver's qualification. The habits of this majestic creature in the Oulu region have become of particular interest to me. In my honest opinion, Oulu is a dream destination for pike angler. Initially, I embarked on numerous trips without any catches, and during these days, my interest in large pike only grew. I have spent hundreds of hours each year searching for big pike, focusing solely on the time spent fishing. Additionally, there was the analysis work. Many evenings, my fishing-enthusiast friends and I sat at the computer, analyzing why we hadn't caught fish on our previous trips. Gradually, the pieces began to fall into place, revealing connections between various factors: oxygen level in the water, air pressure, light intensity, lure/bait size, time of year, water color, etc. There are so many factors influencing the choice of location and other aspects that there is enough to study for a lifetime. There are always trips without a catch, but our understanding of how pike live and eat is strengthening daily. My fishing trips are not 'mass-produced'; You get my personal guide service, and I take you to the best, secret fishing spots, where I often fish alone. Our training culminated in the spring of 2023 when we won Finland's largest pike fishing competition, the HK-Open Rennosti-Serie of Spring 2023, ranking 1st out of 1194 boats.

- My favorite fishing methods include cast fishing for big pike from a small 4.3 m aluminum Jon Boat, utilizing live sonar electronics with my assistance, and targeting big northern pike with bait fishing in winter (ismete).
