Ken and his crew Dexter were awesome. We’d originally planned to go out deeper on our 6 Hr trip but the seas were pretty rough so ken explained the options. We went and absolutely slayed it. Well over 40 fish kept with mnt more released that were out of season. Ken put us ON em!  Dexter was probably the best crew mate we’ve ever had. Engaging and funny- just a good dude who was bustin his butt all over the boat to take care of us (12 yr olds, several high schoolers and parents). Great trip highly recommended!

Our second year on the Just B Cause! Couldn’t ask for a better captain and deckhand! Nice folks that put you on the fish and don’t waste any time. Being late in the snapper season, we weren’t sure how it would turn out.. but ended up with the second biggest fish caught that day in the entire marina (20.4 lb gutted Red Snapper) and plenty more to put in the cooler! Caught another snapper and Blackfin Tuna both pushing 20lb, and about dozen other snapper! Had all the other boats beat by far when we returned!

This was my second trip within two weeks with Capt Ken. My first trip was a 10 hour trip with four of my best friends. We limited out on large snapper. Capt Ken and his First Mate Aiden were very accommodating and put us on some really nice fish all day.

This was my second trip two weeks later as an afternoon 6-hour trip with my Dad, wife, and niece. Capt Ken and his first mate Eijah did another awesome job. Capt Ken works very hard to get you on the fish. We limited out again on snapper and had some really good fights with large grouper.

The Just B Caus has a roomy cabin with air conditioning which really helps you stay cool and to cool down between fishing spots. The bathroom has a nice marine flushable toilet. There are 4 bunks in the bow in case you want to nap for a bit while running to and from the spots.

We will be back again and greatly appreciate Capt Ken and his team’s hard work making the experience great for everyone.

Captain Ken and his mates were great. He messaged us the day before to see if we’d want to start an hour later, which we were happy to take advantage of. When we arrived, he talked us through the day. He let us know that the seas were pretty rough, but gave us the choice to still go off shore if we wanted.

After catching the bait fish we needed, we started off shore, intending to head out about 30 miles. Ken was right, the seas were extremely rough, and after a few miles, he cam down to confirm we still wanted to head out. We decided to head back in and do some trolling instead. We spent a couple of hours trolling and caught several Spanish Mackerel and a Bonita. After that, Ken let us know that the seas were calming a little, so we decided to head out about 14 miles for some bottom fishing.

The bottom fishing was great. We caught several Red Snapper (which we couldn’t keep because they were out of season), a few triggers, grouper, and white and black snapper. Ken even let us go out a bit further, knowing it would extent a bit beyond our 8 hours because he didn’t have another trip scheduled.

Dylan and Austin were his two first mates, and they were great! They kept us all ready with bait on the hooks and lines in the water. Did a great job cleaning the fish and putting everything on ice for us to head home and eat.

This trip was amazing for my whole family.  Captain Ken put us right on top of the fish. As soon as your line would hit the bottom you would be reeling it back in with a fish (or three). First mate Aiden was very knowledgeable and on top of everything that needed to be done.  My 10 year old hooked a shark making his day and adding to the excitement of everyone else. I recommend booking with Captain Ken and the Just B Cause. This trip made memories that my kids will talk about for many years.
