Background
Cap't Casey was raised with a fishing rod in his hand. He has a passion for the outdoors and being out on the water. Throughout his life, if he has had a spare hour it would be spent fishing, whether it be on the pond behind his house or on the Texas Coast. His Dad used to take him fishing at a very young age and he quickly became quite good at it! Capt. Casey was in fishing clubs at Texas A&M University, he frequently fishes tournaments, and he is an active CCA board member in his local chapter. He surrounds himself with opportunities to get out on the water whenever possible - fishing isn't a job for him but a way of life. His experience has proven to be a major asset in his ability to locate and outsmart the fish. You won't be disappointed in a trip with Capt. Casey!
Techniques
Cap't Casey specializes in poling and stalking Redfish and Black Drum in clear shallow flats. He utilizes light tackle which provides extra excitement and sense of accomplishment in bringing in large fish! Cap't Casey is always on the move hunting down feeding fish and won't stop till he finds them. He gets much more enjoyment seeing his customers making the perfect cast to a tailing Red and hooking up than catching the fish himself. He enjoys teaching successful tactics to his clients so they will be more successful in the future.

We had a windy day after a large fishing tournament   -  there had been a lot of pressure on
the fish and they were really scattered.  I will book with this guide again

Had a great experience. Because of the weather conditions Capt’n Casey recommended fresh water river fishing for white bass. We caught our limit and had a great time.

I only had one day on my vacation when I could fish and Casey did a great job of accommodating me, even though conditions were not the best.  The tide was out and the water was very shallow so Casey suggested that we take his air boat to better negotiate the shallow water.  Riding this boat was a blast and we were able to see lots of fish.  I caught a couple of nice ones and had a really good time.  Casey is a very competent and personable guide who did his best to give me the best fishing experience possible.  I will definitely book with him again next time I am in the area.

My 13yo son and I booked a fishing trip with Captain Casey in Port Aransas, TX the day after Thanksgiving. Casey was very professional- contacted me before the trip, provided the meetup location, we went over the things I needed to bring, etc. His boat is in excellent shape, very clean and comfortable. Casey took us to a few fishing spots around the bay area. At every spot we would catch something ! We caught Black Drum (28”), a couple of Redfish (33 in), mangrove snappers, whities, many perch. My son was the one who pulled out that 33” Redfish, it was quite an experience ! By the time we got back to the shore, we had a cooler full of fish and we only fished for 4 hours in the morning. Casey was real good about explaining which bait to use, helping with putting the bait on, and talking about other fishing secrets. I would definitely recommend calling Captain Casey if you want to have an exciting and productive fishing expedition!!!
