We were absolutely amazed at everything about this trip. Starting with Ken’s consulting during the planning of the trip and his attention to detail. Ken ensured that we were fully prepared for the trip. Throughout the whole process Ken acted as an excellent concierge whether it was calling to check in on us, stopping by to drop off some Gatorade or aspirin, or rescuing us when our 4-wheeler ATV got stuck in a river bed we felt very looked after and pampered during the whole trip! Every morning getting up early and watching the sun rise over the ocean as we headed out to get live bait from the locals was magical. Pods of dolphins would swim under my kids’ feet and look up at them as they dangled them over the front of the boat. It brought my wife to tears several times. Oscar and Ken were such professional fisherman that every day we set out to catch something we did! First day they asked us “What do you want to catch?” We said “Tuna!” Then we promptly caught a bunch of tuna. Next day, Marlin! Then we promptly caught a 256 lb marlin! Dorado. Caught it! Wahoo….Fish On! It got to the point that we got a little bored with catching so many fish that the last day Ken and Oscar took us to shallow waters so we could just snorkel with the kids in the warm waters. We couldn’t believe it. The resort we stayed at was awesome too. It was great to catch a fish with Ken and Oscar and an hour after returning to the dock have the same fish prepared as ceviche and waiting for us at the swim up bar! Would we do it again? Absolutely. In a heartbeat. Thinking about just going back with Ken and my son for a guys thing. If you have a little time, a little money, and want to have a blast I would recommend this trip.
