Capt. Brad is very knowledgeable and hard working. He was fast to keep our hooks baited and kept the trip interesting with conversation. Incredible experience and would recommend to anyone!

Our trip with Captain Rick and Christian: you might be thinking- wait they are writing a review on the wrong charter- nope! Captain Brad text us and said meet me here and when we got there- Brad was no where to be found. Captain Rick and Christian were there and said “we are waiting for you guys! Come aboard! Brad is my son.” Ummmm okay…first Rick and Christian were nice, they were personable and made us laugh. Seemed to really know their stuff. We saw some dolphins in the distance and the occasional jellyfish float by. Keep in mind we are from Colorado and I really hyped up this trip for my 17 yr old son and husband… we fished for a little over 4 hours and the only thing we caught was a small catfish. That’s right- came all the way to Florida and caught a catfish?!? Most expensive catfish we ever caught, especially when we could catch something similar and probably bigger at home for free. I know, weather was cooler and so the water was cooler and plain and simple- the fish weren’t biting and they seems to really try and get us on the fish - it just didn’t happen but we didn’t get offered any kind of discount for the lack of fish. I read about other charters offering guarantees or a price reduction if the trip was unsuccessful. I feel like that should have been offered here, according to Rick- being skunked is a pretty rare occasion. I get it! I know that they can’t control the weather and we are only in Florida for a limited number of days, I know there is a cost to the captain for the fuel of the boat and the bait and their time - but to say it was disappointing for my son and husband is a massive understatement. Again the crew was great, the lack of fish stunk, and a discount of some kind would have really been appreciated. If you book with them- be sure to ask questions about when is the best time to fish- heard earlier in the day they had more success. Listen to their advice and hopefully you have better luck then we did.
