Due to a tropical storm the week before, fishing for shark was nearly impossible.  So they took us trolling and made sure we caught some fish and had a great, successful,  day. This is our 2nd trip on the OC Girl, and there will definitely be a 3rd in the near future.  Thanks again guys for a great trip.

The boat isn’t super fancy but the captain John and mate Josh were extremely friendly, component and laid back. They ribbed us for being Pennsylvania trout fishermen and showed us a great day of blues and mackerel fishing. Capt John knew where the fish were and when we were on them my boys’ arms got tired from reeling in the fish. A fish on every line for 20-30 minutes at a time. I’m guessing we caught 400 blues and caught/kept A cooler full of Spanish mackerel.

Captain Jeff and first mate Kelvin had us on the Mahi early and often! One of the best experiences we have had in the last couple years! We’ll be seeing Captain Jeff and Kelvin in May for some shark fishing!

Out trip was pushed back by 1/2 hr from 5:00 am to 5:30 am
Although Fishing Booker sent me a balance notice of $1720.00 I was told the balance was $1750.00 by the captain. Although we had booked for 8 anglers we only had 6 on deck but that is the way it goes…
The Captain and Mate were fantastic. We were fortunate enough to have everyone get the opportunity to bring in a fish with a great results.
Through their expertise we were able to catch some albacore, blues, and a Mahi
Unfortunately the trolling changed and the fishing fell off and the Captain informed me the trip was being cut short by a little over an hour because he had another party waiting to go Shark fishing.
We were back at the dock , unloaded, and the other anglers were loaded and heading out by 4:30pm
I was highly disappointed with this and allowed my better judgement to slip away and was very vocal about my opinion of the situation however it is what it is.
Regardless we had a great day of fishing .
Would definitely consider them again for groups over 6 however I would look into the other Large group charter boats first strictly based upon the discrepancy in the balance owed and the overbooking issue
