Captain Chris was knowledgeable and experienced. The first mate Jose was very helpful and skilled as well. We would have landed many more quality fish if the bottle-nosed dolphins had left us alone. The pesky dolphins continually took the fish off our hooks as we were reeling them in. I estimate that we lost 20 fish to the dolphins and had to move to new fishing locations many times to get away from the annoying pests. They found us every time and ruined many spots that held lots of fish. This was not the captain’s fault. He tried to get away from them. Overall, it was a fun trip!

The Captain and Deckhand was top notch!! This is the boat to book!! They were friendly extremely knowledgeable and worked their tails off!! The Deckhand was on top of keeping us baited up! We caught lots of fish and had the best time ever! We will definitely be booking with them on all of our charters!!

My two sons and I had a great day of fishing on the Sheila Marie with Capt Chris and Jose. We booked an 8-hour bottom fishing trip with hopes of catching Red Snapper. The weather was good, the seas were calm and the fish were hungry. The fish were biting on our first stop and throughout the entire day. Not only did we catch our limit in Red Snapper, but other keepers including vermillion “Beeliner” snapper, white snapper, and something they called a “google-eye” snapper. We also caught other species of fish that we couldn’t keep, which included trigger fish and grouper. After tiring of bottom fishing, the captain set us up for trolling. He didn’t disappoint there either, for before we knew it we were fighting King Mackeral. We’re glad the trolling was done at the end of our trip, because we were exhausted afterwards. We certainly kept Jose busy the entire trip, and he never failed us. In the end, we took home 81 lbs of fish, which included 6 Red Snapper, 4 King Mackeral, 1 Google-Eye snapper, and a number of Beeliners and White snapper. Thank you Capt Chris and Jose for making this a trip to remember. We look forward to booking our next trip with you!

Captain Chris. And his deck hand Jose were awesome and very laid back! The bite was tough but they still managed to get. Good amount of fish in the boat and we had a great time! Highly recommend
