Captain Chris is a real professional. His communication pre trip was impeccable.
To start he contacted me immediately upon booking to let me know if we made a simple day change we could’ve have the opportunity to keep more of our catch.
The day of an unexpected rain/storm arose and Captain communicated quickly our best options.  Once we were on the boat it was all business and completely about our experience. Upon arrival at the first spot the captain put us right on the fish we were after. We caught our aloud amount of red for the day within the 1st hour.  The captain was keen that it was pointless to target that same fish moved us to another spot where all 5 of our crew were catching fish as fast as Jose could get them off. By the end of our trip we had caught 60lbs of keepers and had let go just as many as we caught. Jose the deckhand might be the best you will find friendly knowledgeable and as happy as you that you’re on the fish. I have absolutely zero complaints and nothing I would have changed about my family’s experience. Thanks Captain and Jose look forward to seeing you again!

Exactly what the title says! Captain Chris and First mate Jose were amazing! Chris got us right on the fish and Jose kept our lines baited and cleared when we caught a fish.We literally just had to reel in the fish. I told Chris we were hoping to have a better experience than last year with a different charter and he said he’ed do his best and that’s exactly what he did but better! This charter was well worth the $. I was very skeptical from last years experience but I will most definitely be booking these guys again next year. I only brought $100 tip with me for Jose and but after he worked as hard as he did I felt guilty and ended up giving him $150 more. My boys are 11&8 and they exceeded my expectations with them also. Even let them drive the boat! Oh and the ac was very very nice in the cab! Actually my first experience with ac on a boat. Being a larger man it was nice for me and also my boys when we got to hot. I read the reviews for this boat and decided to give it a shot.  We had four people in our group and Capt Chris and Jose were the perfect fit for our trip.  The boat was comfortable and had everything that we needed.  I was even able to grab a nap in the bunks as we returned to the marina.  Jose worked tirelessly to help us with bait and always assisted us when pulling in our catch.  Capt Chris put us where the fish were and constantly adjusted our location to make certain we maximized our catch with the time we had to fish.  We caught a lot of fish and were able to keep what was in season.  The entire time that we were on the boat we all felt welcome and were treated like family.  If you are looking for a relaxed trip to fish and want to find the fish, you won’t be disappointed choosing the Sheila Marie.  Capt Chris has years of experience fishing these waters and will certainly do his best to put you where you have the best chance to catch fish.  I do not think it’s possible to find a boat with a mate any better than Jose and you will find that he almost does too much for you when you’re fishing.  His tireless energy was really impressive and he never once even appeared flustered at our novice level of fishing.  I can’t say that there was even one thing that could have been better.  I will absolutely call Capt Chris the next time I plan a trip, only our next trip will be even longer.  Thanks for making our trip so much fun!

Captain Chris and Deck Hand Jose are prime examples of a great charter that everyone in the PCB should follow. Both were very professional and know how to catch fish as we pulled up to a spot where a boat was fishing for the same thing with no luck but we hooked up 5 amberjacks in a row within 15mins boy the other boat was pissed. Caught a lot of fish and had an great time filled with lifetime stories. Definitely will be using Sheila Marie Charters when I go back to PCB area.

Went on the 4 hour trip with wife and 2 kids. We didn’t get any bites while trolling. But when we did some bottom fishing is when the action picked up. Almost caught a large amberjack, but a shark got it while reeling in. Overall, had a great time. Captain Chris and crew were very knowledgeable and helpful. Know it costs more, but would recommend a longer trip out to really take advantage of the bottom fishing.
