Amazing trip with MANY fish!!!

Overall a great day with Keith. His knowledge of the harbour, where to fish and humour was great.  I would recommend this for anyone.

Ken took us to a couple of good spots, everyone caught a few fish including the 3 kids.  Very enjoyable morning.

Captain was good and didn’t stay on a spot if was weren’t catching fish. Helpful and knowledgeable. Would book again

FIVE of us plus captain Paul - We really spent that much time moving from place to place, that we were only in one spot for 10-15 mins and then we moved on - Paul had a particular technique, and must have had 15 lines on the boat, but Paul had to keep re-rigging for whatever reason - dropping the sinker to the bottom as advised didn’t work - we caught nothing following it - on the 5th move, we were literally within spitting distance to another guys boat, who was rightfully annoyed and let it be known, that was v uncomfortable for everyone, then we move again and at this spot for the first time in over an hour we start landing some undersize fish - just when it starts to get exciting that we may catch something to go home with - SURPRISE to us all Paul puts in a line using live bait and hooks a shark - now how does someone know EXACTLY the species of shark and pretty much exact size the second it was hooked and well before it was anywhere near the surface - if it hadn’t been hooked at that exact location many times before the same way - so for a bit of fun we’re given a go - what a set up - I feel for the poor bloody shark with how many hooks in it’s mouth? - and then at the only spot where we were catching everything we’re told we HAVE to move on - so with less than an hour left we head to the mangroves to have a go at Barra fishing - told we have to have live bait - so all stand around and another 30 minutes which is wasted trying to catch live bait = nothing, then have to wait another 15 minutes for Paul to rerig for squidgies = no bites = nothing.  We know fishing is dependant on many things, but with a quality fish finder, the right bait and “years of local experience” why wouldn’t you catch fish !! ???
Very disappointed and what a waste of money for nothing - it seemed like we were never meant to catch anything.
