Our family just came back for our annual trip to beautiful Destin, FL and we just had to brag a little bit about our charter with Alex. He is the captain of the most stable boat we have ever fished on, it’s called Hambone after his son. The boat is a World Cat and it is the smoothest ride I have ever had. My kids were able to stand while bottom fishing with no trouble at all. We asked Captain Alex if we could only keep enough for lunch and he was happy to do so. Vermillion Snapper were the target fish for lunch and he put us on a dozen in no time. When we had enough fish for our lunch in the boat, he asked us if we were ready to catch some bigger fish and we did just that. We were able to catch and release Red Snapper and even a Grouper, being that they were out of season, we let them go. After our trip, Alex cleaned our fish and even walked up over to the restaurant. This was the freshest and tastiest fish any of us had ever had. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Thanks Hambone!!

We had a great morning on the water with Captain Alex. We booked the 4 hour morning trip and it was well worth every dollar. Captain Alex was very personable and listened to our requests for the trip. I wanted to catch a king mackerel and he delivered, which could not make me any happier. He was open to changing plans and had backup options if one fishing plan did not pan out. He showed us multiple methods of fishing, all in one morning. I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to catch some fish and be in good company.

Had a great day on the water with Captain Alex, trolling and bottom fishing. He was able to put us on fish in multiple locations for a good variety of different fish. I will definitely be back for more fishing with Captain Alex in the future!

I was sick as could be and incapable of helping anyone. Luckily, Alex was amazing! My 8 yr old was too nervous and scared to hold a pole at first. Alex slowly built up his confidence and by the end he was landing fish on his own. Nothing slowed down my 9 yr old and he loved every minute. He talked about how cool Alex is for the rest of our vacation.

We went out with Capt. Alex today and had such a fun time! We caught Mingos, trigger fish, and some big red snappers. Alex was very informative and taught us so much about the Gulf. We will definitely be back!
