Had a great day with Captain Marcelino and his crew.  They are very knowledgeable, accommodating and patient with my crew who had very little experience.  We went to the north end of the island to attempt and get the best fish possible. Definitely a bit rough out there, some big swells and waves but the captain did his best to give us a smooth ride. Fish started a little slow but we were able to get a nice sized Wahoo and two Rainbow Runner’s.  Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short as a couple in my party were really not feeling well.

I don’t normally fish and had very little experience so this is why I would highly recommend Captain Marcelino.

Captain and first mate were very nice and always asking how me and my wife was doing and if we needed anything, my wife got seasick so she didn’t fish but they always checked on her and offered water or Sprite. As for the fishing it was pretty good, I caught 2 tuna, 2 barracuda and a big wahoo that was a blast to real in! First mate was really quick to get the other fishing lines out of the water so the fish on my pole wouldn’t get tangled in a another line. Water, sprite and coke were provided iced down which was nice since it’s always hot in Aruba. Only negative thing I have to say is occasionally the exhaust from the diesel engine would get to me, it only happened when the wind kinda blew from the back of the boat and kept it around the back of the boat. But like I said it was just 2 or 3 occasions so I’m still sticking with giving this a 5 star rating. Definitely a friendly crew who always made sure you were doing good and made sure you were comfortable with everything, will definitely fish with them again if I get a chance to come back to Aruba!

We could not have asked for more! Well maybe being blessed with a couple of more Yellow Fin Tunas, but after catching 14 fish total, in 4 hours, we cannot be THAT greedy. My family and I (5 total) set out on a spacious, clean boat with a bathroom and in less than an hour in we caught our first Black Fin Tuna. The mate was incredible setting up all the rigs and was communicating with us and the captain the whole time. Guiding my 10 year old son on the first catch. And after the first catch, the fish just kept coming in!!! We caught a Wahoo, then another 10 Blackfin Tunas (11 total) to end the trip with a HUGE WAHOO atleast 4 feet long and a 50 POUND PLUS YELLOW FIN TUNA!!!!!! It took both my uncle and I to bring the yellow fin in. I was the closer on that one with guidance by both mate and captain! NEWBIES AND NOVICES LISTEN TO THEIR GUIDANCE!  At one point there were so many fish hitting our lines, that even the captain had to jump in. They even cleaned them and bagged some for us and we grilled it for lunch at home. PHENOMENAL to say the least, as I had always wanted to do deep sea fishing and wanted to catch big. 14 fish later, checked that off as a SUCCESS thanks to the Mate and the Captain!!!

Took a trip out with my family. Wife and 2 kids 12yo and 10yo. Trip was a day after a full moon. (Typically not a productive day). 1st 2.5 hours were not fruitful. However Captain Marcelino tried everything to ensure we had a catch. Ended up for the next 30 minutes we were busy! Everyone on the boat caught. My son and I each caught a barracuda. Wife caught 2 tuna. And then my daughter had the catch of the trip, a big wahoo! I give Captain Marcelino a big fist bump for turning a should have been rough day of fishing, into a success. Him and his 1st mate showed great hospitality the entire time. Next time I may do the whole day trip.

I have booked many charters in many places and this was one of the best experiences ever. Always great to get on the fish, so we brought in 9 Wahoo and 18 Tuna. Crew was super, ask for Jerry and Michael, they worked great together, and made trip a positive experience for the guests. Lots of excitment as we seemed to be catching all day. Boat was super clean and organized. Would 100% book again and recommend.
