We had an awesome day and the captain had us on the fish ALL DAY LONG.  We were treated like family and would strongly suggest this charter to anyone.

When you decide to go on a fishing trip during vacation and wait until the night before you leave to book it, you worry that all the good boats are taken…worry no more!  I searched based on price, size of boat, and accommodations (bathrooms and ac are a priority).  We wanted to go for about 6 hours so after catching bait and traveling to and from the dock, we would have plenty of time to fish.  Since I spent all our grocery money on the trip, I was betting on success! 
We booked Reel Chill because I felt like the 52’ boat could handle rougher water, it has 2 bathrooms (one for anyone forgetting to take the motion sickness pill I set out the night before and one for everyone else), comfortable sofa and bed for a snooze on the way out and/or back, and very importantly in August…AC!
We arrived at 5:45 excited that we had picked a good weather day and we’re even more delighted upon entering the vessel to discover everything even better than the pictures and description!  Captain Troy was very welcoming and eager to please!  I was a little worried when he said his regular mate was out for the day and we would have a substitute.  He totally failed to tell us that Hunter was actually Deeks from NCIS LA trying to make some extra money between filmings!  We headed out to sea to the Captain’s extra special spots and stayed busy fishing the whole time with Hunter, Nicole and Captain Troy attending to all our needs.  We battled King Mackrel, caught mahi mahi and tons of vermillion snapper which are hands down better eating than reds.  When we got back to the dock, Captain Troy didn’t have an afternoon trip so we were able to hang out and visit for a little while.  Now my youngest son is ready to move down here and work for Captain Troy!  We will be back to fish on Reel Chill again! This was by far the best fishing charter we’ve ever taken and the best Captain and crew you could ask for!  The memories we made and priceless and we even caught enough to eat the rest of the week so we won’t starve!
