My daughter and I made the effort to go fishing while on Aruba - it’s easy to do nothing and just relax but making the effort to go and fish was very rewarding.  It was great trip and the 4 hrs flew past with lots of good fishing. I personally found that was sufficient. After we got back we had our catch cooked at the local restaurant opposite the dock. It was delicious. The booking was easy via the app with final payment and tip made in cash after the trip. There was water and soda in the cooler and you could bring whatever you wanted to eat and drink. There was parking near the dock and it was easy to find the boat in the dock.

My son and i had been looking forward to this trip for about a month. Of course as soon as we get to Aruba there is talk about a Hurricane hitting the island. They contacted me and let me know tgat they were watching the weather closly.  My son amd i showed up the morning of at 7;00 AM and we were told we would still go out but water would be choppy. Loved the communication we got
We went out and the Captain ( cant remember his name) and Alex the Mate were both incredible!! Alex worked 7 lines at a time to constantly bring the fish to the boat, we caught 10 fish today!! 7 Mahi and 3 Baracuda.  I have never seen two guys work so hard for two strangers to have a great day!! Was amazing trip and i can not wait to come back again.

Kristel Fishing Charter did not disappoint.  We chartered a 1/2 day afternoon charter with Captain Joel & Mate Alex.  Both were top notch with Alex working hard to keep all our lines bated in the water and getting the fish we landed on board.  Captain Joel working to put us on fish.  The water was a bit rough and the bite was a little slow to start but we pushed through and ended up with 2 nice Mahi-Mahi and 5 barracuda’s.  This was the first Mahi that me or my oldest ever caught.  Captain Joel cleaned the fish we wanted to keep for dinner and then pointed us to a U catch we cook dinner spot.  We will not hesitate to book Kristel Fishing Charter next time we visit Aruba.

The fishing weather in Aruba was GREAT. Captain Joel & first mate Sigrend Alexander were Top notch instructors & really knowledgeable in what we were doing and what to expect out in the water. Captain Joel did an excellent job controlling the boat in some Rough Waters. While Sigrend was telling us what we were going to catch on that day. Unfortunately the birthday man didn’t catch anything… His Beautiful Wife showed up catching 2 tuna & 2 barracuda ( she always out fishes me!) My Wife and I had a great day , beautiful weather ( Aruba) and the crew were awesome! Thanks Joel & Sigrend. See you soon!

Great day for fishing! Sunny, hot some good tunes cranking as we headed out on 6 hour trip. Gear was older PENN Int 50’s and TLDs. Bait mostly all rigged Ballyhoo. 5 rod spread plus deep drop and Rosary (weighted hand line) Alexander the mate was great! Worked his butt off. Captain was good too. He was on deck to high five and was full of excitement when good fish came aboard. Seas were screwy, definitely a bit rolly, but that’s Aruba. When you have wind, current and ocean scape like Aruba, you’re gonna get some roll to your trip. Boat could handle it. Day kicked off w two decent Baracudas, then lulled a bit till the Wahoo decided to bite. Got a nice 40-50 pounder on the way back center rigged bait. We boated another 15 min later on deep drop rig. Alex had the ballyhoo all rigged and ready and was very attentive to rods and crew. 3/4 in our group got sick so we cut our day short, pleased w the wahoo and cuda. Captain and mate worked to find us fish. Can’t control the ocean. It was a good trip!
