I’ve just got back from a day trip with Pedro and crew, what can I say really… I caught a 650lb blue marlin, somebody else on the boat had another blue marlin of smaller size I think about 450lb both hooked and played at the same time (all fun and games). It still hasn’t sunk in. Drinks and food provided along with the taxi fares for collection and drop off. Awesome boat and crew. Thank you, would definately use fish on for any future trips in gran canaria for sure. 🐟🎣

We’re a group of nine people whit a 5 hours trip. As complete inexperienced novice, this length was very suitable for us. We took 1 hour get to and from the port to the fishing area. The four hour of fishing time started with learning the basic fishing logic. The captain was very patient in explaining the techniques. The captain and crew were very enthusiast and patient throughout, always by our side, that guiding or answering all of our questions about the ocean and ocean animals.

There was also enough to do on the boat while waiting for the prey to be hooked. A variety of drinks and snacks were provided throughout the boat to satisfy our hunger. Just lying on the bow of the ship in the bright sunshine, while drinking cold beer, while enjoying the stunning sea view is the most comfortable way to spend my “winter time”. We also can jump into the ocean, swimming in the side of the ship, from a different perspective to fell the Atlantic Ocean. My personal favourite was the changing colours of the sky at sunset, which was mesmerisingly beautiful.

Back to the fishing, we each caught more than one small fish ourselves, and we all had the opportunity to work with the captain to catch big fishes. Throughout the trip, we caught nearly 10 different species of marine life, which successfully aroused everyone’s enthusiasm for marine life and sparked our interest in fishing again.

At the end of the trip, all the harvest could be taken home. We took three of the fish with us and made Christmas dinner out of them. Thanks to the gift of nature, there is a special feeling and meaning to eat the food caught by ourself.

This fishing trip was the most impressive and memorable trip we had in Gran Canaria. During the trip, I already highly recommend this trip to all my friends who are or will be coming to Gran Canaria. I hope that all the people who want try fishing have a very good first experience with Pedro as well.

For a 3 hour experience, even out of season we got ALOT more than we could have hoped for! 3 nice bonitos and a decent barracuda took the live baits. A small snapper also made it to the boat. Even a big hammerhead shark showed up behind the boat but did not take the bait. Awesome!
Pedro is a true angler in passion and it is clear to us that he is very proffesional about his charter boat. Even though fishing is fishing and not only cathing we did both today. Had a very good time with Pedro and we would love to go with him again.
Pepe the crew member did a marvelous job cathing bait for us, and were in full control of the rods and gear.
All in all a very professional outfit!
Can only reccomend to go out to sea with them!

Despite not catching anything it was a great day the boat was spotless and gear in tiptop condition the crew were friendly and spoke good English a beautiful day out seeing a large pod of pilot whales and dolphin but alas no fish but if it was guaranteed it would be called catching not fishing many thanks to Pedro and pepe for a great day on the water will definitely see them again in the future
