- Biloxi Sport Fishing was established in 2019 by Captain Tony Mathis, a retired Marine. Previously, Tony owned and operated Island Charters Sport Fishing in Honolulu from 2009-2019. While Captain Tony is not typically at the helm, fishing charters are professionally led by Captains Angie and Drew, Tony's youngest son. Drew's passion for fishing began in 2007, when he first cast a line alongside his dad. His journey led him to become a deck hand for Island Charters Sport Fishing in 2012, where he honed his skills and knowledge of the sea. Now, as a newly credentialed captain, Drew is eager to share his enthusiasm with you. Angie is a fourth generation Biloxi native and has been fishing these waters for over four decades. Angie has worked her way from deck hand to captain, learning all aspects of inshore, offshore, and tournament fishing, from many of the coasts most revered captains. Angie is now one of only a few female USCG master captains on the Mississippi Gulf coast. Captains Angie and Drew, with their local knowledge and lifelong passion for fishing, provide their guests with unforgettable experiences every time they leave the dock!
