Headed out on a beautiful Pine island morning, pelicans were diving and sun started shining. Poling along pine island sound, my anglers hooked up onto jacks, snook and redfish. And also caught a tan.

As the weather and water get warmer the tarpon have been showing up ranging anywhere from 25-200lbs.

Went out for a quick half day trip and found many redfish tailing, and crawling in shallow water. Had a blast presenting artificial baits to them.

Went on a Half Day trip, with two great customers Dale and his son Jackson, through the mangrove tunnels of Pine Island. Lots of Juvinile Pods of Tarpon, Rolling happily and hungry ready to take bait, flies, and whatever offerings. Lots of fun with the fight on light tackle, just less of a lengthy battle (compared to the adult full grown tarpon), and are happily and safely released to grow up to be giants some day. -Capt.
