We booked the trip with Scotty. We have done a few trips in the past with other guides, but this was one of the best. He and his son were great hosts. He was very knowledgeable about fishing and the areas to go to. They were very helpful. He was on time and easy to work with. We will use him again next time.

Captain Rich was great from the start. We had a Safety Briefing, headed out. Very personable, great conversation. Got us on the fish immediately. We caught fish the whole time.  Filleted our fish when we returned. We will definitely be back to fish with Captain Rich and Scotty J’s.

Booked a 3/4 day trip for a group of 4 of us, all newbies.  Rich took the time to educate us, help us, and not make us feel like we did not know what we were doing.  First mate, Nico, was a polite and helpful young man and kept us set up with bait as we lost a lot of it.  We stopped at several different locations, weather was perfect, and a great time was had by all.  Highly recommend this trip!  It was like fishing with an old buddy vs. a paid charter.

We had an absolute blast with Captain Rich! The half-day charter ended up being the best day of our entire trip to Florida. Practically first-timers, he was extremely patient with us and had a lot of good tips and tricks up his sleeve. Great experience for my husband, myself, and two teenage boys.  Very nice and comfortable boat, beautiful ride out and back, nice and hard working captain and his son, and some exciting and successful fishing.  All we hoped it would be!  Thanks again Captain Rich and Scott!
