Background
Captain Dan Stewart has been fishing for as long as he can remember. From SE Michigan to NW Michigan, we have a boat for everything. As a result, he knows all the hiding spots for favorites including Steelhead, Chinook, Coho Salmon and walleye throughout the state of Michigan. He'll easily accommodate both experienced anglers and novices and looks forward to giving his guests a welcome escape to nature. You will have such a great time with Captain Dan that you will be booking other trips the rest of the year around the great state of Michigan. My season starts in the Nw for Steelhead. In Mid April I move to the Detroit River for walleye. In May I move to the St Clair river for walleye. When Lake St Clair heats up I move over there. Around Mid June I end the walleye fishing and move back to the Nw chasing a variety of fish. We fish crystal lake and all other inland lakes near by. We are also fishing Lake Michigan for Salmon and Trout. We follow the salmon up river then back to steelhe

The rivers are empty right now...of people. But its still a great time to be fishing. Steelhead, trout, walleye and Pike have been the target species. We start up at the top for steelhead with crawlers. If the skamania steelhead, a summer run, do not start biting we go looking for other species in the deep holes. Crawlers have been the tickets for steelhead and trout. Jigs with an assorment of plastics bounced along the bottom have been key for the pike and walleye. We just got a heavy rain so the fishing should be good this week. Let me know if you want to get out.

The crawler bite was on fire mid day today. Blades with anti freeze and pink were getting Hit. A blie silver blade started catching fish at the end. Took a little bit to find the pod but once we did it was game on. Good Luck

Well, my walleye season has come to an end. The trolling bite on Scr was so so this year. The fish were dialed in on certain harnesses. The problem was, not losing that harness on a snag. My last trip i switched back to jigging. The bite started off hot with hooking 5 fish in 2 drifts. Then a storm rolled in and the bite stopped. Right before dark we hooked 2 more. All fish came on a anti freeze with a sexy shad walleye assasin paddle tail. Im done with walleye for this year. Time to get back up north for some river fishing and big lake fishing out of Frankfort, Mi. I am really looking forward to it. If you want to get out, look up Chromeseekers.

The fishing was grwat the last two days. We limited yesterday. Today was a little challenging due to the mobility of clients but they caught olenty of fish. The crowds are gone but still some great fishing to be had. Book now! We also are getting ready gor Lake Michigsn trips. If you want to get into some Big Lake Salmon and Steelhead, get a hold of me.
