Matt was an amazing teacher.  All of us on the boat were first timers when it came to fly fishing. We caught a pile of Sockeye Salmon (I limited out and my wife had two keepers), and then did some trout fishing where we all caught Dolly Vardon and my wife caught a Rainbow.  Amazing experience between the scenery, Matt coaching us all, meeting new people and bringing home some salmon.

Matt kept us on the fish all day. We where beginners so he was patient with us. He changed our beads when it slowed to make sure we would get a good bite. Great time! Thank you Ronnie & Renae MN

Fantastic guide and beautiful day fishing.Biggest bow in the 24 to 25 inch range. Mixed bag of rainbows, dolly’s and coho. 18 to 20 fish landed between three guest. Lots more quick releases. Plenty of laughter and great company made for a fantastic trip.

Andrew made my wife and myself feel very comfortable on our half day trip. He was very knowledgeable and put us on several really nice salmon on our trip. I highly recommend this trip for fisherman of all levels.

The day was perfect.  JJ is a master on the river. He worked hard the entire day to put our boat in perfect spots to catch fish.  His experience and knowledge of the wildlife and natural resources of Alaska is an added feature.  He answered every question we asked with extended information to help us with our trip.  We caught sock-eye, rainbow, and dolly varden trout.
