Background: Captain Joe arrived in Hawaii back in 1968 after graduating from high school, spending the next couple of years surfing before eventually going back to fishing. In 1999 he started the business Pacific Sportfishing LLC and has not looked back. He has participated in fishing tournaments for years and brings this unique experience to every charter. His goal is for all his guests to enjoy their time aboard Play n Hooky, and he will go above and beyond to make it happen.

We had a great experience. I would recommend a full day if you have the time as you can not predict when a fish will be hooked up. Capt and deck hand kept me and the boys comfortable in the down time between catches. Great experience Thank you

Teoni tried to find the fish. Just a slow day, live bait was hard to find and marlin were no where to be found. It was a good day on the water . Weather was great ,seas were pretty flat. We opted to fish in a different direction than where the whales had been seen on previous days. Captain and crew were professional and attentive.

All I can say is…FANTASTIC. We only caught two fish, but the experience was amazing. A knowledgeable fisherman helped us as a seasoned captain piloted the boat. My 3 sons had never fished before. They were thrilled and walking on air when they got home. This was a once in a lifetime experience. A family memory none of us will ever forget. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!
