I called Matt the day before our trip and a cold front moved in a day before. After talking to him he said if your flexible on your time he said fishing would be better if we took off around noon instead of 7:00 am. That worked out good for us. We arrived before noon and headed out. Water a little choppy at first but he knew where to go. We limited out on sea trout and Matt was a wealth of knowledge. He is just a great guy. We actually cut the trip short and told him we were done because we had a great day and I was getting sunburned. My own fault. We all know you can’t get a limit of fish every day, so don’t except it! But you won’t be disappointed with Matt. Thanks Matt you made out trip to Savannah Georgia the highlight of the trip. When we come back, expect a return trip. Mark and Leeann

Capt did a great job of putting us on quality spots all day long. Also did a great job of getting us out of the way of storms all day and keeping us in calm water and on top of fish. Reds, Flounder, Drum, Black Sea bass, Trout….. we caught enough for dinner and released the rest. Will def use Cap Matt again!

Wonderful day on the water. Took a while before we found some trout hitting but once they did, it was like shooting fish in a barrel. High tides and super moon worked against us but Mike is a good teacher and guide. Thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to come back, possibly in September, for more variety.

The Captain was very impressive, he worked very hard to provide solid opportunities in extremely high wind and foul weather. We got everything we came for. I plan to use him in the future and would recommend him an first mate Trip for a fishing adventure.

Matt is a great captain. Fishing here all of his life. He was able to make it happen even though the fish didn’t want to cooperate. I highly recommend this charter. He had no charter later in the day so he asked if I minded if we spent more time. Unheard of. Thanks Captain Matt
