We had an excellent experience.  Captain Brad worked hard on finding the Mahi and never skimped on driving all over the place to insure we found fish.  All while skirting storms that were all around us.

1st Mate Mick was cleaning seaweed constantly to insure our baits were always in perfect shape.

Final result was the best trip we have experienced in the last 15 years, with plenty of fish to prove it.

This will be one of your best experiences fishing should you book a charter with them.

Captain and First mate Mick were truly incredible on this experience. They were prepared early when we arrived so we could start immediately. They answered all of our questions and they worked their tails off to ensure we caught PLENTY of fish. They never stopped working and we were reeling in fish after fish the entire time. We were a party of four adults on a guys trip to Key West and did not have any deep sea fishing experience but this was not a problem at all. They took care of everything, taught us everything we needed to know and ensured everything was handled safely. Top notch crew that I would recommend to any group. I did a lot of research on fishing outings and decided on the Southpaw because I liked the boat design (Which is perfect for large sized groups looking to have enough space to comfortably move around) and the high reviews of the crew. Nothing disappointed and if I make it back down to the Keys I am 100% booking with this same option again, WITHOUT HESITATION. The boat has a full restroom on board and they provide ice and a cooler for your food/drinks. All in, we ended with 6 full sized zip lock bags of Mahi Filets and one bag of blackfin tuna (which we ate sushi). I cannot wait to do this again on the Southpaw!

Have taken many charters and this was one of the very best.  The Southpaw is probably the best designed fishing boat I have ever been on.  Besides being stable and powerful, there is plenty of room to more around and relax under cover.  Captain Brad gets the show on the road right away and has a plan all ready to go.  We go out and catch our live silver herring for bait.  We get to out spot about 8mi out and first-mate Mick sets out 2 kites with 2 lines on each.  Right away we get some action with sharks and trigger fish checking out the lines.  Then come the sailfish with jump continuously and put up a big fight.  For 4 hours we were constantly getting attention and caught more than a half-dozen fish in total.  Mick is really friendly, knowledgeable and works feveresihly so we didn’t have to.  *Highest recommendation possible*

Our first day was a bit bumpy because of the wind. But Capt Brad took us out to the reef and put us on some nice Snapper, Mackerel and a mixed bag. Mick was very helpful and instructive of the first timers in our party. We had some mighty fine eating that night.
The next day we tried for Sailfish and Tuna in the morning. Capt Bran cautioned us that those two species were hard to come by right now. That proved to be the case, but we caught a couple Bonita. Then Brad and Mick took us back to a reef. We got back into the Snappers, Cero Markerel, and some huge Kings. As well as a mixed bag.
It was a very good two days of fishing and catching. Thanks Capt Brad and Mick.

Wife and I had a Great trip with Captain Brad and First Mate Mick.  First half of day spent kite fishing, targeting Sailfish, but were just not there.  Second part of day we went to an off shore reef and limited out on Snapper, caught some grouper, and my first ever Parrot fish.  Captain Brad and Mick were real pros, worked very hard, and taught us how to finesse / free line in the current.  Highly recommend them for another trip.
